Jason and Elizabeth

Jason helped Elizabeth when a man was harassing her at a bar called Jake's. One night, Liz was missing Lucky and asked Jason to dance with her. Carly saw them dancing and thought they were together so she slept with Jason's boss, Sonny Corinthos. Jason was shot the day he found out about Sonny and Carly. Elizabeth found him in the snow outside the boxcar and took him to her studio where she took care of him. They became close friends and even pretended to be lovers so no one would know that he was hurt. Jason left town and when he came back, Lucky had been discovered alive. Jason began to develop feelings for Elizabeth, and Elizabeth returned them. When Jason asked her to go away with him, she said she wanted to stay with Lucky. Jason came back a year later to find that Liz and Lucky were no longer together. Jason and Liz began dating, but Elizabeth kidnapped. Jason pushed her away to protect her from his "dangerous life". Liz turned to her friend Zander Smith one night. Zander and Elizabeth moved in with Jason for protection. Jason and Elizabeth finally admitted to each other that they wanted to be together. Liz ended things with Jason when she found out he lied to her about Sonny's "death." Jason started dating and eventually married Courtney Matthews.

After Elizabeth was kidnapped again by Manny Ruiz in 2006, Jason rescued her once again. Lucky and Elizabeth were married, and Jason was with Sam McCall. After Liz found out about Lucky's addiction to painkillers and affair with Maxie Jones, she confided in Jason who was also hurting after witnessing Sam having sex with his enemy, Ric Lansing. Jason and Elizabeth spent a night together, and she became pregnant. General Hospital shocked viewers when a paternity test showed Jason was the father, but she did not tell him the truth because she despite her strong feelings for Jason, she knew that he was still in love with Sam. During the hostage crisis at the Metro Court, Elizabeth told Jason the truth. After the hostage crisis, Jason told Elizabeth he had to tell Sam and she begged him not to because she was afraid of Lucky finding out also. Then Jason learned Sam could never have children, and decided not to tell her. After Lucky told Eliabeth he was letting her go,she decided to remarry him and asked Jason to let her and Lucky raise the baby for the baby's safety. Jason had trouble giving up his son. During a thunderstorm, Jason found an unconscious and bleeding Liz at her home and rushed her to the hospital. She gave birth to Jason's son, via C-section, Jacob Martin.

Sam vowed revenge on Elizabeth and Jason. She hired two men to terrorize Liz. Jason asked Liz to meet him and told her he wanted to build a life with her and tell the truth about Jake's paternity. Elizabeth told Jason of the two men who threatened her, and he reneged on his desires. However, he confessed his love to Elizabeth. She returned his love, and they shared a passionate "goodbye" kiss as they agreed to stay apart for Jake's safety. Jason discovered Sam was behind the threat to Liz and her children, but he did not tell Liz because he still believes Jake is safer with her and Lucky. Then they later met each other in a abandoned barn. Liz was looking for Lulu and Jason was looking for evidence. Jason told Liz that Sam knows about Jake. Liz was shocked. He also told her that Sonny, Lulu,Spinelli,and how Emily might know about Jake. That worried Liz,but she was happy to see Jason. They told each other that they were in love with one another. Then they again shared a passionate kiss.
