Are you ladies beginning to panic about the writers strike? What are you?

going to do when you can't get your daily soap fix?

Kind of...I am addicted to General Hospital. My sister said she heard that the producers are going to be writing the scenes until the strike is over!

As much as I enjoy my two soaps, right now I am quite fed up with the story lines on both of them Gone on far too long for me. I really don't care if I see them or not every day at this point anyway and have considered not even bothering to put them on a lot of days. So to answer your question I am not panicking - in fact the respite will be enjoyable if it comes to that. I can always find something else to do or watch if I have to have a dose of TV.

Watch it on SKY, its full of the old repeats !

I tape DOOL and catch Y&R occaisionally on Soapnet but I am not too worried. I know that they will be back as soon as the strike is over and hope that they take the opportunity to air classic episodes.

Bo and Hope's wedding.
When John found Marlena on the docks.
A Horton Christmas or 2.
When Sami stopped Austin and Carrie's wedding with herannouncement that she was pregnant.
When Lucas stopped Sami's execution.
When Abby was born in the cabin and was delivered by Jack.
When Hope as Gina opened the puzzle box and discovered who she really was.
Steve and Kayla's wedding.

Oh there are soooo many!

Strike is settled. Now I won't have to take my anti-depressant drugs.

lol God I don't know. I might die with out DAYS OF OUR LIVES. I'm joking by the way.

cry , for two minutes, i only watch young and restless, so wen they do come back on if they strike ,, all the baby's well be in teens summer finmore, and Victoria son, Sharon son Noah well be a married with children, Nickie will be knock-up who's the daddy???victor are other guy???

I'll get more done around the house. It's just TV.

well thank god for the internet cuz my cable co sucks ***.
i can stream episodes of my fav daytime and prime time shows when they run out of epis. plus its the christmas season, there is so much to do.

Thanks for the points the other day! I had to laugh when you voted me best answer. ;-) I know you're just having fun, so I don't take it serious. But seriously, the soaps I do watch haven't been affected by the strike. And if they were, I'd just turn on something like HGTV. I can always use some tips on doing stuff for the house. Primetime is another story though. My husband tapes a lot of shows during the week, so we end up watching those instead of reruns from this season. (Merry Christmas to you too.)
