Have you heard updates about Ellen DeGeneres and the dogs and what she did?

The last I heard the rescue group was not going to return the dog to the hairdresser because she has two children under 14 yrs. old (which I think is ridiculous....hence the term "family pet"!) and the organization was receiving bomb threats from irate people. They said they were not going to be bullied into changing their policies. I personally think it's ridiculous...isn't their bottom line to find a good, safe, loving home for these animals?!?!?! Did they take the dog and place it back into a small cage?!?! I think this place may end up out of business as Ellen has a large audience and they may boycott their boutique!

Yes, poor Ellen. From what I understand she is one of the really good and kind celebrities.She was trying to find the dog a good home and the rescue group felt they knew more about a good home than she did.Hope Ellen knows she was trying to do the right thing and is able to put it behind her.If she is truly an animal lover she is still grieving and I am sad for her.

I read the emails. If they were real, Ellen lied initially. I don't like the way she handled the whole affair in any case. I guess she was trying to protect her girlfriend and put the agency on the spot.

I hope the dog is happy and well cared for now, that's what really matters in all of this.

Old news and who cares anymore. Ellen overreacted by crying on TV and she did not come across very well by the whole thing. I am sure Ellen does not want to talk about it anymore.
