What's with all the bleeping on the Maury Povich show?

I don't understand, is the audience just yelling out curse words in the middle of the show, cause sometimes nothing is going on and a bleep is heard. I hear it when not so favorite guests are on, but their is more bleeping than Jerry Springer. Is this true that these audience members are just unruly and yelling out curse words?
Please help me out.

It's quite possible that it's the audience... especially if it's the baby-daddy show. Relatives r probably in the audience just waiting for him to come out so they can give him a piece of their minds.

I noticed that too but it must be the audience because the audience on those oh so dramatic shows often gets pretty rowdy . It is annoying but thats gotta be what it is.. those ppl on that show are CRAZY sometimes

Sounds like a heart monitor is going off, doesn't it. The one word that gets bleeped for certain is the "f" word, and a lot of people in the audience are yelling that in some form or other. That's why there is so much bleeping lately.

Well I think you may be right, it's the same for the Jerry Springer show, I have stopped watching his show.

our friend Maury has turned into the new (not so trashy) springer! well used to not be as trashy, but headed that way quick. i guess bleeping is necessary when you have a ton of uneducated lowlifes in your audience... they probably have to bleep just to cover up their normal vocabulary!

yes, the show is bleeping out unappropriate words and comments that come from guest and audience. The same is true with jerry springer, and other shows like it. Sometimes you cant even get parts of the conversations.

I don't watch Maury or his ilk, but I learned this from listening to The Cooper Lawrence Show (radio program) yesterday about the Tyra Banks show (and this practice is probably done at other shows.)

The producers take time before or after the show to tape the audience reaction to "fake scenarios".

They will be asked to cheer as if Tyra just walked on stage, gasp as if they just heard something amazing, cheer for something, clap quietly and politely, etc.

They film this and cut the scenes into the final show.

It could be that Maury's producers put the beeps in so you think everyone is swearing. (And thus lowering the bar of acceptable behavior.)

the guests and the audience members are vulgar. and maury isn't any better for hosting these people. there is nothing more useless than his endless "you are not the father shows"

You got it. Potty-mouth audience keep cursing and the beeping goes on. Probably each side to the case being discuss come to the studio with their supporters.

What's with the women who bring 8 different guys on to the show and none of them are the father?!!! And they still have the audacity to run off stage crying - like they didn't bloody know!!!!!!

Oh and in answer to the original question - yeah it's all the cursing that's being cut out.

It's a stupid show....with stupid people....saying stupid things.

Think about it, of course they are cussing, check out the guests. Hos who don't know who their baby daddy is, or cross dressers. With such educated guests, of course the audience must follow suit.

umm Maury show is way better and interesting then jerry springer...I think that the jerry spinger show is very pointless and it so stupid and its sooo fake...but the beeping is probably from the audience cussin
