What happened on The View today (11/08/07)?

Anyone know what happened on The View today (11/8/07)? I heard there was some heated debate about JLo's pregnancy, but I can't seem to find a clip anywhere.

here ya go... this is what happened... the debate was over celebs personal lives, and what they owe their fans as far as info on that goes...

NEW YORK (AP) - Jennifer Lopez's pregnancy has sparked the most heated argument on "The View" since Rosie O'Donnell and Elisabeth Hasselbeck went at it.

The debate was over how much personal information celebrities owe their fans.

It took Lopez weeks to confirm her pregnancy at a concert in Miami. Whoopi Goldberg says it was Lopez's right to keep the news a secret for so long and couldn't understand why anyone cared.

Sherri Shepherd said she and other fans care because they have fun keeping track of the personal lives of their favorite celebrities.

The argument between Shepherd and Goldberg got so loud and lasted so long, Joy Behar (BAY'-hahr) eventually said "leave her alone! That's enough on Miss Sherri."

Goldberg and Shepherd patched things up by hugging before the show went to commercial."

Whoopie was asking Sherri why she cared so much that Jennifer Lopez confirmed her pregnancy. Sherri couldn't put into words why she cared and Whoopie kept wanting to know. It wasn't nasty or anything just Whoopie being her too serious self and Sherri being her regular down to earth self. Whoopie needs to lighten up - if Sherri is interested in celebrities that is fine and she does not have to explain herself to Whoopie. I've heard Whoopie gush about celebrities on the show so it seems fine for her to have celebrity worship - but not Sherri???

If Sherri can't "put into words" her view on a topic, what's she doing on the show? And Joy should have butted out. Who's she - the housemother? Whoopi doesn't need Joy telling her what to do.

my guess is they said something liberal and tried to force their politics on people like they do every day.

I'm basically responding to everyone's post so far...Whoopie has real issues with the media and the public's obsession with celebrities because she was once dogged too about her personal life when she was dating Ted Danson and they (media/public) really treated Whoopie and her daughter pretty badly when she had a baby out of wed lock. She was accused of being a bad/neglectful mother. As far as J-Lo goes...her pregnancy...was one of the worst kept secrets in Hollywood. Her own designer outed her weeks ago.
