Oprah Winfrey aside of being one of the wealthiest people in the entertainment industry has a heart of gold. She opened a school for girls in Africa to help educate young women who would have little to no chance of an education, she has in one respect or another advanced the careers of people like Dr. Phil and Rachel Ray, her Angel Network has raised millions of dollars to help underprivileged children and there are many other examples of her generosity. Despite and likely because of her humble beginning in life Oprah has excelled in practically everything she touches and through it all has gained wealth and fame without losing the humanitarian side of her nature.

Opray Winfrey has many accomplishments , I'm really suprised you havent heard that much of her . Although she doesnt make many gues appearances , you certainly can tell just by her show ans her guest . She is very well educated .
She started from "no where " ,just think she can give hope to everyone out there !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

shes rich.. inteligent.. cares about others...and has strong emotional feelings... and shes a strong women.... she dated roger ebert he persuaded her too take her successful chicago talk show into syndication..... in 1986 and its the highest rated talk show in tv history...........

Please tell me what happened to Oprah's heart of gold when the recent incidence of sexual misconduct at her girls' academy came to the forefront? I listened in horror when she issued her press conference, and out of her mouth came the statement that the perpetrator would be punished and that there was no way this individual was going to stomp on her dream which she'd had for sooo long. Yadda Yadda Yadda. Of course it's all about me! Hello?!! Where was her compassion for the young girls who were on the end of the victimization? It was shameful to watch and I have lost what little respect I had for her. True humanitarians help others QUIETLY. They shun the spotlight and usually remain anonymous. They are not looking for camera ops around every corner. She just screams look at me! with all she does. Rather an insecure pitiful child still to this day in need of far too much unhealthy attention. Watch her closely. You will be struck by the fact that she lacks genuine warmth. She is the quintessential narcissist. As for her being intelligent, she is just average. I was appalled that she would have a show on women who hoard and not make it clear it is a very devastating psychological impairment. I felt she was portraying the woman as someone whom her audience could judge and come out feeling better for it. In other words the old "well at least I am not THAT bad" Of course people aren't if they don't have this disorder!!! Again her lack of empathy was contemptible. As per usual. Wake up America she's not God.
