Is Oprah Winfey a rascist? She only has had Obama on her show and no other candidate. Should she be more open?

I wouldn't call her a racist, but she is partial to a certain portion of society- which is her right.

I don't think she's racist. She brings in people that she supports and that will bring in ratings and an audience to her show.

She has already openly endorsed Obama. I've never heard her say that she isn't having other candidates on. We have a year left so I guess she has time, right?

LoL she's not racist. Obama is the candidate that she supports so she's trying to build support for him. It's not that she only has him on the show because he's black.

I think we should be worried less about what some TV host says and more about what we think (without the 'guidance' of TV), let's not become automatons people.

Obviously that's who she's backing, but she should have other candidates on her show for viewers to see the opposing side. It would be interesting for her fans because I'm sure they aren't all going for Obama. I don't watch her so I don't know if she's a racist.

It's possible. It could also be that she feels the need to promote other black people because in her eyes they dont get as much coverage. It could also be that other candidates dont want to be identified with Oprah. I dont know.

Oprah is not a racist. she has stated that she supports Obama so she had him on her show. She has had Hilary on in the past.

my question is i thought their was a law that requires media outlets to give political canidates equal time; meaning that if Oprah books Obama she has to book the other canidates?
