The "Today Show" shows EST the same as CST. Why is this? The Today Show is aired live from 07:00-10:00 EST, and is tape delayed to air from 07:00-10:00 in each Time Zone. This is why you see Live and the time as EST. I believe it is a contract The Today show has with NBC and all the affiliates. No, I didn't need any research. Yeah, he got it.
