So what do u think of Whoopi Goldberg and her behavior since she has been on The View?

So what do u think of Goldberg? I remember when it first started and I asked this question and people were like she's siding with her black co-host quite a bit, but it doesn't seem like that's the case to me. I flipped on the tube the other day and Whoopi was talking for a long time and Sherri tried saying something and I think she was like "GIRL, NOW U GOTTA LET ME FINISH THE STATEMENT. I HADN'T EVEN FINISH YET." I was like daaaang! lol! It was actually kind of funny. Sherri shutted up too. A couple weeks ago, I flipped on the tube, and Behar was like "well, READ it Whoopi" and Whoopi threw the paper back at her and said "YOU READ IT!!!" lmao! I think Whoopi was joking how she yelled at Barbara Walters two weeks ago but I turned it on late.

the only reason i watch that show is to see them act like idiots

Sometimes I think they are telling her to hurry up ( the control room), but she's real, and she's going to speak her mind, but I wasn't sure at first but now think she's a good mix with the group :}

You know, I don't really watch that show, but I have seen it a few times with her and I really like her. She gets her point across without being too rigid (like Joy). It also helps that I agree with her on most of the issues. I don't see her as the type of person who would gang up on people based on race. If anything, I see her as trying to be a mentor to younger Sheri. She seems to have an open mind about things. And unlike some of the hosts, seems to be educated about what she talks about before she begins the show. Nothing is more annoying than listening to a bunch of fellow women have a conversation about something when they are assuming something is true that is not or they just plain have the facts wrong. It's an injustice to us all and I think she gets that and really works towards making sure that's not happening.

Wow! I've seen every episode since she's been on and I know she almost never sides with Sherri --not even in the beginning. Usually Joy and Whoopi agree with each other and they are usually the most informed on whatever the topic is (and Barbara when she's there) but Sherri's opinions often come from her emotions, not from FACTS so you can always see a look of annoyance on Joy's & Whoopi's faces when Sherri contributes anything.
I like that Whoopi is on the show and that she is the moderator. I think she just sometimes gets flustered because the producers are telling her to go to commercial while the other ladies might be talking and she's tryng to be as polite as possible about it w/o just cutting them off.

I think the whole show has turned into a joke.
Back in the old days with the original group it was actually intelligent and worth watching, but now its just a circus.
I still like Whoopi though.

I love Whoopi and she definitely doesn't side with Sherri... She handles Sherri with kid gloves because Sherri is quite simple minded. She has to guide her through her thought processes and some of the time, Sherri realizes that she doesn't have a clue why she feels one way or another. Poor thing. She's lucky to have Whoopi there to help her out.

I think she is doing a good job. She's funny and shes trying to be a good moderator. She seems to be honest and down to earth.

I like Whoopi the best. She has her own opinion and gets it across without being nasty or rude to the others.

Whoopi is a very strong person, with a multitude of opinions...she is fairly well versed and Sherri is trying to give a good opinion, but looks like even though she is firm, will give it up a little....In my opinion, it is just an exchange of ideas based on their experience and research and given the different ages of Sherri and Whoopi, it is all a matter of time alive, personal experience and either guessing or actual research to give your opinion....
The thing that bothers me the most, and I am going to ask this question, is 'How come the guest panelist is often ignored through most of show when they were invited to sit in (and probably paid)?
This show is not meant to get you angry, just enjoy it for what it is or don't watch it...it kind of takes you away and you can escape your own reality for an hour!

I love Whoppie , that is who they needed on that show .

Nothing different about her, she is just being Whoopi, she has always been a strong personality and says what"s on her mind, it didn't" start with the view. Why should she change who she is just because she is on the view? Behar is the one I think is rude and opinionated. EDIT>>> Pride boai, Rosie was a loud mouth idiot and everybody is glad she"s gone, except another idiot.

I hate Whoopie. she took Rosie's place. Rosie is a genuis and Whoopie is not.
