The Jerry springer effect-pro /con my thesis?

When todays young adult has more exposure to the surreal characters of the main stream media-sesation tv, fantasy /fictions and supermodel lives- thanface to face everyday interpersonal interaction, do the character flaws of the tv personas become acceptable behavior? If they see their peers all do a certain action it becomes acceptable behavior. If their peers are tv characters do the observed activities then become acceptable behavior?

If you notice, especially on Springer when an audience member gets up to ask a question. If the guest starts to throw verbal diarrhea their way then they start behaving in the same way as the guest.

The audience is really a mirror image of the guests even though they would deny it. Same happens with characters that people love in soap operas. They like the traits they see as themselves within them.
