Why aren't talk show hosts at night funny any more? Are we suppose to laugh at stupid attempts to be stupid?

And what's funny about opposing Bush or Congress? If that's funny, take Iran, please!

Late Night "hosts" stopped being interesting or funny when Johnny Carson retired. That's when I stopped watching. Carson's stuff was, and still is, "golden"......you can't compare what's on now to his shows, they don't even belong on the same page !!!

I'd rather watch Johnny Carson's old shows any night of the week, than what's being shown now. I watch old Sienfield and MASH shows. Hey, since there is a writer's strike, why not rerun Carson's old shows? The networks would be surprised at the ratings they would get (LOL)

I stopped watching late night talk shows a long time ago. There is nothing funny about opposing Bush or Congress joke after joke after joke. It wears thin. An occasional joke can be funny, but it seems to me that they have crossed the line from joke to vendetta.

At the moment they cant be as funny as they want to be as they are airing re runs because of the writer's strike that is going on. So your hearing the same old tired jokes that youve heard before.

Talk show get 'stagnant' after a while.....SOS......!!!

Letterman is still funny. He's a comic genius. If you don't like late night talk shows, don't watch.
