Why is Tyra Banks ALWAYS compared to Oprah???

Right, its true they aren't always compared :) but..often

Because many people think that she is the future oprah in the making

both black women who are successful and have their own tv shows?

I dont know because Tyra doesnt hold a candle to Oprah

I don't agree that is is ALWAYS compared to Oprah. But there could be some similarities in their interviewing style.

Could be because they are both trying to find some meaning in their lives. Could be because they espouse similar causes, or it might be that some of their past experiences resonate. Trya Banks and Oprah also take on weight issues and body image in common, although they have different views on the subject. By the way, Tyra Banks is not always compared with Oprah. Sometimes she is compared with other models in her profession. Maybe you just hang around with a lot of Oprah fans! One thing you might want to take into consideration. They do both have talk shows and they do often cover similar subjects!

To me there is no comparison Oprah stands on her own and her track record speaks for it's self this year along she has made over 200 million dollars. I'm sure Tyra didn't even come close to that number.

Simple in just 6 reasons:

1. They are both Black Women
2. They both have their own talkshows
3. They both had rough past lives/backgrounds before they becames popular
4. They are great rolemodels towards the African American(black) and American (white) Women
5. They both have the gift and talent or ability to motivate any women whether or not their black or white to help them do the right things. Just because they're black doesn't mean that only black people understand them but also white people do which is why for the last reason.... number:
6. They are especially respected by both Black and White Americans in America.

I don't even know who Tyra Banks is. And Oprah isn't all that great. A habit of watching Oprah Winfrey implies that the viewer is either a retard, a loser, or a sufferer from a weird mental disorder called "liberalism."

Black, female, talkshow hosts? Actually there's no comparison. Oprah is far more intelligent than Tyra will ever be.

I have really never heard the two compared..... But Tyra is a long ways away from being the talk show host that Oprah is.
