Maury Povich, cosmetic surgery?

I have been watching the show today and can't believe these parents who are letting their 14, 15 year olds get cosmetic surgery! Maybe I could understand the girl who had her two breasts different size but to allow them to get nose, jaw, etc redone is ridiculous! What are these mothers teaching their children?! The are teaching them that your looks are very important and without beauty you will be nothing. Don't they know that most teenagers don't like the way they look? It is a difficult stage of their lives but they should be more concerned about their inner beauty and to gain some self-confidence. Happiness begins in the home. The mothers should be investing that money towards college for these girls, something that will help them become someone, to lead a successful life. The problems these girls have are their mothers, not themselves!

There is no way on this earth my parents would have ever let me get something like that. It's bad enough these parents are willing to do it. But I blame the doctors in the end because without them the procedures wouldn't be done in the first place. Unless it is necessary from a medical standpoint any doctor who performs this kind of stuff on kids that aren't even adults yet should have his license taken away. Seems like these days there is more interest in the surface stuff than anything.

I agree that this is crazy to teach these young teens that surgery this young is ok(if at all)...but you were watching Maury...nuff said lmao

yeah i so some of it and turned. it was ridiculous. spend the money on therapy to boost their self esteem. it's b/c of our society that values beauty over brains and it's said that they want or feel they need to have surgery to make themselves either happy or beautiful. i agree that maybe the moms need help too b/c i wouldn't be spending money for surgery i mean they are still growing.
